About Skinny George

 George is a professional drummer and educator with over 25 years of experience based in Miami, Florida. 

His career spans studio work, marching percussion, rudimental drumming, and private instruction.

For more than 15 years, George worked as a professional studio drummer, collaborating with renowned mixing engineer and producer Jimmy Douglas (Timbaland, Justin Timberlake). 

His diverse background allows him to bridge technical precision with musical application across multiple drumming disciplines.

In 2020, George expanded his teaching reach by launching educational content on all social media platforms with a focus on providing high-quality drumming resources to students who may not have access to traditional instruction. His platforms have since grown to over 180,000 followers and continue to reach drummers worldwide.

His work has been recognized by some of the most respected brands in the drum industry, including Evans, ProMark, RTOM, RCP Drum Company, Zildjian, Vic Firth, RTOM, RCP Drum Company and others.

George teaches privately, specializing in preparing drummers for the professional music industry—helping students develop technique, confidence, and long-term career sustainability.
